Episode 12 - The Catholic Revival: A church reborn from the ashes
The fire of Notre Dame in Paris seemed to embody the decline of Catholicism in France. However, just as the cathedral has risen from the ashes, so too has the Catholic church with record numbers of adults baptised in the past 2 years.
As Pope Leo XIV heralds a new era for Catholicism, Justin speaks to converts, evangelists and clergy about a surprising revival taking place among young people. Bishop Robert Barron, Tony Wilson, Rusty Reno, Frank Skinner, Rob Schneider, Paul Kingsnorth & Tom Holland contribute. Justin also hears the story of Mark Baldwin's journey from atheism to Catholicism.
Episode 13 - The Orthodox Boom: New converts to an ancient faith
Eastern Orthodox parishes in the USA have been seeing a remarkable increase in numbers, especially among young men. Justin speaks to converts, priests and journalists about why this ancient church stream is encountering a fresh wave of seekers.
Fr Andrew Stephen Damick, John Mark Reynolds, Jonathan Pageau and Rod Dreher explain the attraction of Orthodoxy's ritual and sense of the supernatural.
Storyteller Martin Shaw, Gen Z influencer Freya India and 'Apostate Prophet' Ridvan Aydemir, tell their stories of conversion to Eastern Orthodoxy.
WATCH EARLY: Episode 14 - Rod Dreher: Miracles, angels and demons - why the supernatural is back
Despite our secular age, interest in the supernatural is rising fast. Justin Brierley speaks to Rod Dreher about the re-enchanting of culture in his new book 'Living In Wonder' and his own journey of encountering miracles, mystery... and even the demonic.

Bishop Barron: Why young people are converting to Catholic faith
At the ARC 2025 conference, I sat down with Bishop Robert Barron of Word on Fire Ministries, to discuss the surprising increase in young people coming to Catholic faith. We discussed why this is happening, and what can be learned from it as Christians engage with people looking for a way out of the meaning crisis.
Orthodox Priest on young men FLOODING into church
Eastern Orthodox priest Fr Andrew Damick tells me about why young men are flooding into the church and why encountering the existence of the demonic is part of the reason.
Listen to my Interview on the Inspired Podcast
I spoke to Inspired’s Simon Guillebaud of my journey to faith and the adventures that led me through two decades of talking to atheists, to where I am today with my ‘Surprising Rebirth’ thesis!
Evangelical Analysis on my “The Quiet Revival” and my “Rebirth” thesis
In 2023 I published The Surprising Rebirth of Belief in God. In this book, I cited the positive reevaluation and sometimes embrace of Christianity amongst public figures as the first signs of revival in the UK. This was an argument which was received with scepticism, including from Christians, but just two years later, research by major Christian organisations have suggested that such revival is underway. In this video, Evangelical Analysis explains my contentions, looks at the findings of said research, and the subsequent reactions from evangelicals.
